The Giardino Lago Hotel houses only 14 rooms and one suite, allowing an atmosphere of absolute peace and quiet even when the hotel is fully booked. Particularly peaceful is the roof terrace, featuring a luxurious lounge design. The space invites guests to recline on elegant couches under giant white parasols to better enjoy the wonderful lake views. The hotel’s interior features a tasteful, modern design, with attention paid to even the smallest details: a mixture of hand-made Italian furnishings are combined with high-quality products from the Designers’ Guild and real wood flooring. The whole look is complimented by splashes of colour to create a welcoming and youthful ambience.

The entire hotel is designed with luxury in mind. This is demonstrated perfectly in the guest rooms themselves, as each contains a flat screen TV, DVD and CD player, radio, iPod docking station, wireless Internet, safe, hairdryer and bath products from Dipiù Spa by Giardino. The service team also add their own personal touches, such as a welcome drink on arrival, a handwritten letter of greeting, even delivering an evening thermos of tea, to make every stay as special as possible. Food & Drink: fine Italian cuisine and perfectly grilled steak
The food served in the in-house ‘Ristorante Lago’ is a well-established feature of the hotel’s high-quality service. The menu uses locally sourced ingredients in its gourmet selection of Mediterranean dishes, Italian classics and Tapas, but the absolute highlight of the service is the 800°C infrared oven, specially designed to cook meat to perfection. With its unique heating method the oven preserves the full flavour of the meat, grilling it until tender, juicy and meltingly soft. Guests can choose from a variety of excellent-quality meats, including the finest US Premium Black Angus Beef, Canadian bison and Simmental veal.
Sport & Leisure: Whirlpool, water sports and lakeside strolls
The main attraction of the hotel is of course its location near the stunning Lake Maggiore. The lakeside is just a stone’s throw away, so that guests can enjoy strolls along the bank or engage in a number of water sports, including water skiing, wakeboarding and even stand-up paddle boarding.
