The Il Giardino summer cottage
The bigger one of the two small summer cottages of the romantic apartment hotel in Tuscany is called Il Giardino (the garden). Completed in 2002, the Tuscany summer cottage offers traditional-style holiday accommodation for up to five guests in spacious, light-flooded rooms. An ample living room dominates the ground floor - a striking communal space with a soaring ceiling, a fireplace, a sofa bed and an area for cooking and dining. Also on the ground floor of the romantic apartment in Tuscany you will find an elegant bathroom with shower, and a double bedroom. A flight of wooden steps leads up through an imposing brick archway to a second double bedroom on a mezzanine level. Like the other rooms of the Cortona apartment, this is a spacious, tastefully decorated area with a warmly-coloured beamed ceiling. The apartment has colour TV and heating, and is impeccably furnished to meet your needs on a relaxing country-side vacation in Tuscany.

The garden
The garden of the apartment hotel in Tuscany is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. A table and chairs make for convenient al fresco dining and there is a swimming pool with breathtaking views over the valley to Lake Trasimeno.

The Il Glicine summer cottage
The smaller one of the two small summer cottage of the romantic apartment hotel in Cortona is called Il Glicine (the wisteria). Finished in summer 2004, this adorable Tuscany cottage can accommodate 2 people (or 2 adults and 1 child). The apartment is tastefully decorated in the typical Tuscan style, and includes a double/twin bedroom, a bathroom with shower and a kitchen. In front of the apartment you will find a private porch with table and chairs, which is beautifully overgrown by climbing wisterias. Guests of the Il Glicine cottage may on request use the swimming pool, which, in fact, belongs to Il Giardino.

Special note
The summer cottages of Giardino dei Bonsai in Cortona, Tuscany are intended for self-catering vacations. There is no hotel service included.
