The Caldas de Monchique Thermal Village Resort
The Caldas de Monchique Thermal Village Resort is located in the hilly region of the same name in Algarve in southern Portugal. Famous for its healthy springs, magnificent landscapes and wholesome nature, the region was already appreciated by the Romans. And still today, the Caldas de Monchique Thermal Village Resort is a wonderful place for a wellness vacation. Three hotels are located here, accompanied by two restaurants, a wine-bar, a spa and several boutiques and shops.

Wellness at the spa
The spa at the Caldas de Monchique Thermal Village Resort offers 1250 sqm of everything you need, to enjoy a relaxing and rejuvenating wellness vacation. A swimming pool with water massage jets, a Jacuzzi, massage and Vichy showers, a sauna and a steam bath are available. In addition, you can enjoy one of the massages or treatments offered, many of which are carefully balanced medical treatments at the Caldas de Monchique Thermal Village Resort. These treatments are based on the health improving potential of the Monchique water, which has been scientifically proven to be especially effective concerning respiratory problems and muscle and bone disorders.

The family hotel D. Carlos
Enter the Caldas de Monchique Thermal Village Resort and you will encounter the first family hotel of the site: The D. Carlos Hotel, featuring 4 suites and 188 rooms. All are brightly lit, comfortably furnished and offer magnificent views on the lush green surrounding the hotel. By the way: For kids, there is an extra Kid’s Club available – ideal for a family vacation!

Central Hotel: A historic hotel
The Central Hotel represents the historic center of the Caldas de Monchique Thermal Village Resort. The Villa Termal from the 19th century elegantly combines the charm of long past times with the amenities of the 21st century. 13 rooms are available here, offering a very tranquil setting, much comfort and a historic ambience.

The boutique hotel D. Lourenço Inn
The boutique hotel D. Lourenço Inn is located at the esplanade of the Caldas de Monchique Thermal Village Resort and consists of 12 comfortable rooms. Located right next to the Central Hotel, this boutique hotel houses the excellent “Restaurant 1692”, the name of which refers to the year of the first documented usage of the superb water of Caldas de Monchique.
