The 5-star luxury hotel Beachcomber Trou aux Biches Resort & Spa is located on one of the most beautiful coastlines of Mauritius. To get to the white, sandy beach, holiday-makers make their way through the 35-hectare tropical garden of the hotel -- a green oasis of tranquillity with its swaying palm trees and streams. Shady trees, loungers and parasols provide excellent conditions for a relaxed day at the beach. In the evenings you can enjoy impressive sunsets over the lagoon. All the villas and some of the suites have their own pools, while other accommodation options are grouped around garden pools. Entertainment and games are offered for younger children aged 3 to 12 at the Mini Club, as well as for young people aged 13 and over in the Teenager Club. In the morning, the main restaurant L’Oasis welcomes its guests with an international buffet breakfast. Rich buffet-style cuisine can be enjoyed in the open-plan restaurant La Caravelle, which is open for every meal and in the evening offers spectacular cooking shows. For dinner, guests can choose from a variety of culinary options. Indian restaurant Mahiya recalls an Indian Palace with its opulent wood-decorated interior, floor-to-ceiling windows and warm colours. On a wooden terrace, the restaurant Le Deck offers light fish dishes with regional ingredients. The Blue Ginger restaurant leads its patrons through the world of Thai flavour. Parquet floors and plenty of bamboo provide a comfortable ambience, and the open show kitchen offers guests an insight into the restaurant’s food preparation. The traditional Mediterranean cuisine of the Italian restaurant Il Corallo is ideally complemented by fine wine from the restaurant’s walk-in wine cellar. Between the main pool and beach, guests can enjoy refreshing fruity cocktails at the L’Oasis bar, or take in the sunset at the La Caravelle bar with a glass of cool champagne.
