Lots of wood, warm pastel colours, soft upholstered furniture and typical stone floors provide a sense of rural cosiness. The small restaurant serves traditional Tuscan cuisine, while there are snacks in the lounge bar. The property also includes a private chapel which is now a suite and a well-kept garden.

Set in the Tuscan countryside, the Hotel Albergo Villa Marta is located in a hilly landscape characterized by vineyards and olive groves. In the garden, palm trees grow. A total of 18 double rooms and suites with exposed wooden beams, decorative interiors and views of the surrounding countryside offer a sense of intimacy. History: Historical country house with charm
The former 19th century hunting lodge is situated near the Tuscan town of Lucca, and is about a 30-minute drive from Pisa. With great attention to detail, the estate has been restored by its owners Andrea and Alessia Martinelli. Frescoed ceilings and exposed beams emphasize the property’s historical character. On the furnished terrace, guests can find peace and relaxation. Beamed ceilings and terracotta floors contribute to the traditional Tuscan charm, as do the bright furniture and fabrics.
Nature: Large garden and views of the mountains
The hotel’s own garden with tall palm trees, olive trees, fragrant magnolias and camellias invites you to enjoy small walks or just to rest. Here you can sit back quietly and gaze at the hills of Monti Pisani. The landscape, full of greenery, offers ample hiking opportunities, through rolling hills, terraced vineyards and vast olive groves. The Classic with view and Deluxe rooms offer views of the garden and surrounding countryside.
Food & drink: Homemade specialties, selection of regional wines
A breakfast with homemade jams, fresh croissants and Italian cappuccinos can be taken on the terrace in the lush garden. In the Botton d’ Oro restaurant, the chef creates region-typical specialities such as succulent bistecca fiorentina, and homemade tortellini with fresh ingredients. Healthy olive oil from the region completes the dining experience. There is also a choice of around 50 wines, and cooking courses are available on request. The Lounge Bar, open on weekdays, offers light salads and snacks.
Sport & leisure: Swimming pool in the garden, hiking in nature
From the Hotel Albergo Villa Marta, walking paths through the idyllic surroundings can be explored throughout the year. The swimming pool in the garden can be used in the summer months. From there, views of the green countryside of Tuscany can be enjoyed. An 18-hole golf course is located in Montecatini Terme, about 25 km away. On request, bicycles can be arranged by reception. An internet corner in the hotel is free of charge.
